Rosalind Archer joined the Engineering Science Department in 2002 as a lecturer. Previously she had been an Assistant Professor in the Petroleum Engineering Department at Texas A&M University. She has research interests in reservoir engineering in geothermal and petroleum reservoirs, gas hydrates and carbon dioxide sequestration.
Rosalind has served as Head of the Department of Engineering Science from 2013 to 2020. She became Director of the Geothermal Institute in 2013, and continues to serve in that role. Rosalind took up the role of Acting Deputy Dean, Faculty of Engineering, in April 2020.
