WiDS Worldwide, now available in Arabic & Spanish

5/10/2021

Picture
On International Women’s Day, March 8, we held a 24-hour virtual WiDS Worldwide conference. During the conference, in order to make the content as accessible as possible for a global audience, we provided simultaneous interpretation of the main sessions, the workshops, and the meet-the speaker sessions in Arabic and in Spanish. When registrants joined the online event platform, they could select a ‘translate’ option, and begin listening to the talks in Arabic or Spanish immediately.
Now, those interpretations in Arabic and Spanish are available on video, free-of-charge, on the WiDS Worldwide YouTube channel!

WiDS Worldwide session playlists, in Arabic:
المتحدثون الرئيسيون:
ورش العمل
لقاء المتحدثين

WiDS Worldwide session playlists, in Spanish:
WiDS Mundial 2021 Presentadoras del Escenario Principal
WiDS Mundial 2021 Talleres de Trabajo
WiDS Mundial 2021 Conozca Las Presentadoras

Special thanks to Hilda Berganza, Houda El Mimouni, and Daliyah H. Alzeer for translating the YouTube descriptions and titles into Spanish and Arabic, respectively.
