This year is a year unlike any other, as WiDS ambassadors are planning and hosting virtual WiDS regional events as the global pandemic continues. On March 8 alone, more than 30 WiDS regional events were held in conjunction with the WiDS Worldwide conference, with an incredible number of participants. WiDS has arrived — and is expanding — in Japan, thanks to our WiDS ambassadors from Yokohama City University, Waseda University, and soon, Hiroshima University.
