Rashida Brown, Ph.D., M.P.H., is a Data Scientist at Airbnb. Her work focuses on ensuring that hosts meet the commitment of Airbnb-worthy stays. She is using statistical inference techniques to drive impact for a new product launch. Dr. Brown's work experience includes positions as a Statistician at the University of California, San Francisco and a Research Associate for the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. She was also a Data Science Intern at Airbnb and a Data Science Fellow at the Eric & Wendy Schmidt Data Science for Social Good Summer Fellowship - University of Chicago. Rashida earned her Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of California, Berkeley. She also completed an M.P.H. in Epidemiology from Rutgers University and an Honors Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
