Dr. Daniel Lopresti

Dr. Lopresti's research examines fundamental applied questions on a range of topics including document analysis and computer security, among others. He has published over 150 papers in professional conferences and journals, and holds 24 US patents. At Lehigh, he serves as the founding director of the Data X Initiative, which focuses on the widespread impact of computing and data analytics. While serving as interim dean, he initiated Lehigh's Women Engineers activity. He currently co-teaches a course on Women in technology which links the Lehigh campus to experts at high tech companies in Silicon Valley.
